Hello

Turn off 2 step verification

• Log in to your SBC account.

• Click on the name appearing on the top right of the screen.

• Go to ‘Account settings’ and open the drop down menu.

• Click ‘Edit’ to change the 2 step verification method.

• Click ‘Disable’ to turn off the verification process.

Thanks

  • If you have an Access ID with an AT&T email address associated with it, the password will be the same on att.com and att.net.
  • If you change your password, it changes for both your Access ID and your email address.
  • Always use your AT&T email address to complete these instructions, even if it's merged with a yahoo.com email address.
  • The following instructions are valid for both primary and secondary email addresses and for all AT&T email address domains (@att.net, @ameritech.net, @pacbell.net, @swbell.net, @bellsouth.net, @flash.net, @prodigy.net, @wans.net, @sbcglobal.net, @nvbell.net, @snet.net).

Hello

Now, visit the Device How-To Center and select your device.

  1. Under Device instructions, select Messaging & email, and then select Email.
  2. Select Email options to view steps to access the email account settings.
  3. Once in the email settings on your device, select your AT&T mail account.
  4. Update your password.
  5. Save your password change.
Thanks
