Drum shell made of non magnetic stainless steel revolves around the magnetic filed. As the material fed evenly from the chute falls over the drum, powerful magnetic, field attract & holds ferrous particles to the revolving shell. Magnetic drum separators provide an efficient means for extracting ferrous material from dry, bulk products in free-flowing processing systems. Drums in a radial pole configuration orient long material such as roof bolts or re-bars along the drum width so they cannot be knocked off. Magnets can be arranged in a variety of ways to produce the depth of field and holding power to accommodate a broad range of applications. The permanent magnets used are everlasting magnets and its strength does not diminish during normal use and can be used through out the life of the installation.
